Why Us?
1. Milling Process:
– Hridika’s atta: Our atta is traditionally made by grinding whole grains of wheat between two large millstones, typically made of natural stone like granite or sandstone. This process is slow and gentle, resulting in flour that retains more of the grain’s natural flavor, nutrients, and texture. Our atta is associated with a more artisanal and traditional approach to milling.
– Bulk-Packed Atta: Bulk-packed atta, on the other hand, is typically milled using modern steel roller mills. These mills are faster and more efficient but generate more heat during the process, which can lead to some loss of flavor and nutrients compared to stone grinding. Bulk-packed atta is produced on a larger scale and is often used for commercial purposes or sold in larger quantities for industrial or institutional use.
2. Packaging:
– Hridika’s Atta: After the customer places an order, our atta undergoes the grinding process before being carefully packed and promptly delivered.
– Bulk-Packed Atta: Bulk-packed atta is usually produced in larger quantities, often stored in sacks or larger bags. This type of atta is intended for use in commercial kitchens, bakeries, or food processing industries and is not typically sold directly to individual consumers.
3. Texture and Consistency:
– Hridika’s Atta: Stone-ground flour tends to have a slightly coarser texture compared to flour produced in steel roller mills. This can be desirable for certain traditional recipes, such as Indian roti or chapati.
– Bulk-Packed Atta: Flour produced in modern roller mills is usually finer and has a more consistent texture, which can be preferred for applications like baking bread or cakes.
